Interpersonal is a collaborative body of work created with artists Joana Stillwell and Danielle Comeaux. Running July 31st, 2013-August 31st, 2013 at SOIL Art Gallery, the exhibition included new photography, video, audio and sculptural work inspired by and evolving from explorations of our friendships with each other. Using self-imposed exercises and activities to explore individual comfort zones and familiarities with one another, we explored the nature and limits of interpersonal boundaries. The resulting work considered themes of perception, assumption, and projection. The viewer is given a playful glimpse into the curious nature of our interactions and the delicate dynamics of private and public amongst friends.
